We believe in saving the treasures of planet earth for our children. So one of our criteria for choosing our properties and suppliers is to make sure they run an environmentally sustainable operation. We steer clear of printing or accepting brochures, flyers and informations packs. We find that the internet and emailing can be used to replace brochures and mailshots, to both decrease paper wastage and related transportation.

Likewise, we recognize that flying contributes to global warming by releasing the greenhouse gas CO2 into the atmosphere. That is why, together with our partners, The CarbonNeutral Company, we have developed a CarbonNeutral® flights program that helps you to balance the impact of every flight booked.

How it works: The CarbonNeutral Company has calculated the CO2 associated with short, medium and long haul flights. For every 1kg of CO2 produced by the flight, 1 kg is saved through investment in carbon-saving projects around the world including solar, hydropower, and wind farms.

What do you have to do? Nothing – we have taken care of that for you. The carbon offset is included in the ticket price. You will also receive a CarbonNeutral® flights certificate pack with a recycled leather luggage tag that shows you care.
